It's not 2am, but I'll write anyways

I had intended on writing this blog at 2 am, when I find some of best creativity comes out, but I forgot. Ever forget? Happened to me. Anyways, I love music. Always have and always will. I was trying to figure out what album I'd like to do a blog post on this beautiful afternoon, and I came up with nothing. I've decided to write about my favorite song of the week, which is "Feeling Good".

There are two versions of this song that I've found to be absolutely beautiful in their own way. The first version I ever heard of Feelin' Good was the rocking, screaminamegaphonefalsetto, and credible cover done by the band Muse. Matt's wah induced piano just sets the mood perfectly as the drums and bass overlap in perfect precision.

The other version of the song, which is usually regarded as the original, is done by the infamous Nina Simone. The original version was done by Cy Grant, yet in my opinion Nina made the song what it is today. Her acapella intro sneaks into your soul and then envelopes as a flower blossoms with the horns lightly laying down the fabulous descending refrain.
